Designed to detect, Engineered to react
The sensor is designed to detect water leaks and react quickly to prevent additional damage. When a leak is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the control unit, shutting off the Arjonstop installed stop valve. The stop valve is connected to the property water inlet, ensuring that when there’s a leak, the water to the entire property is shut off. This makes sure the leak isn’t supplied with more water than is already present in the pipe. Damage is drastically reduced compared to a normal water leak where the supply isn’t stopped.
Arjonstop may be a smart home device, but it can be installed by any professional plumber. A plumber can install the valve in the same way as any traditional stop valve. An electrician can then connect the valve to the control unit, allowing control of the stop valve.
Control Unit
The Control unit can recognise abnormal deviations and detect leaks in water systems in houses and apartments.
Sensor
The sensor sends an alert to the control unit upon detecting a leak.
Switch
The switch allows manual control of the valve, allowing it to be turned on or off from a more accessible location.
The average household’s leaks can account for nearly 10,000 gallons of water wasted every year and ten percent of homes have leaks that waste 90 gallons or more per day.
With Arjonstop Connect, you can also receive alerts and control valves remotely via a smart phone. Be alerted when there’s a leak when you’re away from home, or turn the water back on if someone spills water, triggering the stop valve.
